Event Media Guidelines
These guidelines are established to ensure a respectful, professional, and collaborative environment for all stakeholders, including media representatives, exhibitors, sponsors, partners, performers, and guests. By accepting media accreditation, all media personnel agree to comply fully with the following provisions.

1. Professional Conduct

Media representatives shall conduct themselves in a professional, respectful, and responsible manner at all times. Behaviour that disrupts event operations, obstructs visitor movement, or interferes with business activities is not permitted.

2. Respect for Participants and Businesses

The event serves as a platform to support entrepreneurs, small businesses, and community stakeholders. Media coverage should be fair, responsible, and mindful of reputational impact.

All organisers, exhibitors, sponsors, partners, and guests invest significant effort, care, and dedication into their work — including the preparation of food, products, and services presented at the event.

If any product, service, or dish does not meet expectations, media representatives are strongly encouraged to communicate directly and privately with the exhibitor or vendor, allowing them the opportunity to rectify the matter and improve.

Where experiences are positive, media representatives are encouraged to share feedback constructively and respectfully. Thoughtful and considerate words — both public and private — contribute meaningfully to the growth and sustainability of small businesses.

Private words of encouragement can uplift emerging entrepreneurs and strengthen the community we are building together.

3. Community Values

This event is grounded in shared values of respect, kindness, gratitude, and mutual support. Media representatives play an important role in shaping public perception and community culture.

We encourage all accredited media to uphold the following principles:

  • Choose fairness over criticism where improvement is possible.
  • Choose encouragement where effort is evident.
  • Choose responsibility in the influence you carry.
  • Choose kindness in both word and action.

4. Filming, Photography, and Interviews

  • Filming and photography must not obstruct walkways, emergency routes, or operational areas.
  • Interviews with exhibitors, sponsors, guests, or performers must be conducted with prior consent.
  • Access to restricted or backstage areas requires explicit approval from the organiser.
  • Special interview requests are subject to prior approval and scheduling.

5. Equipment Use

Large equipment, lighting setups, stabilisation rigs, or tripods must be used safely and without causing obstruction or hazard. The organiser reserves the right to restrict equipment usage in high-traffic areas.

6. Compliance with Venue and Organiser Instructions

All media personnel must comply with instructions issued by event staff, security personnel, and venue management. This includes crowd control measures, restricted zones, and safety regulations.

7. Accuracy and Attribution

Media representatives are expected to ensure accuracy in reporting, captions, and public communications. Misrepresentation of individuals, brands, products, or event activities should be avoided.

8. Revocation of Access

Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in immediate restriction or revocation of media access at the organiser’s discretion.

9. Spirit of the Community

This event is more than a marketplace — it is a shared space built through collaboration, trust, and goodwill. Every participant contributes to its atmosphere and success.

To guide our collective conduct:

  • Kindness strengthens communities.
  • Gratitude turns shared moments into meaningful connections.
  • When we support one another, everyone grows.
  • Respect builds trust. Trust builds community.

Let us work together to create an environment where encouragement is freely given, effort is recognised, and people uplift one another with sincerity.

By accepting media accreditation, all representatives acknowledge and agree to abide by these guidelines in full.
